Introduction To Woolie Wonders

It's a long story, but i'll try to explain a short version!

It all started approx 18 months ago when i was pregnant with my daughter. I decided i wanted to learn how to crochet, so, like with a lot of other people, i started trolling YouTube for beginner crochet tutorials, and within just a short couple of months, i had learned to crochet and had even made several blankets for my unborn baby, but that wasn't enough for me! i like a challenge, and YouTube tutorials just weren't challenging enough for me anymore, so then i went shopping! yarn, more hooks and plenty of books! my favourite book was The Ultimate Crochet Bible, it included everything i needed to know to crochet, so i read it from start to finish, and before i knew it, i understood the entire crochet world so much more clearly! finally, i could start to read patterns! So, i went onto Ravelry and started looking for all sorts of pretty patterns that i thought would look really sweet on my baby, and finally, i found the perfect pattern, it was a comforter, it was beautiful. But of course, that soon became very unchallenging for me, so i decided to try to learn to create my own patterns, and thats exactly what i did! the first pattern i ever created was a baby cocoon, i loved making this and they actually ended up being invaluable once my baby was born, so of course i made plenty more. over the coming months, i made more and more things for my baby, myself and my older daughter, which all received a lot of public attention, people started asking me to make things for them, and so Woolie Wonders was born.

and now, here we are, creating a blog to help you learn all i learnt in that short amount of time.
i hope you enjoy this blog.
